Trent Edmunds
Hello! My name is Trent Edmunds and I am a sophomore at Western Kentucky University. I was blessed to be born and raised here in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I am currently studying marketing in hopes of one day working with medical sales as well as property management.
I first heard about Bike4Alz from my brother (Jake) who completed the ride back in 2018. When he first came home and presented the idea of biking across the country to my parents I thought he was insane, however, I was immediately hooked. I knew that this was an opportunity I could not pass up. I have been lucky enough to hear stories from past riders and how this journey has impacted their lives. I have been able to see how Bike4Alz has given hope to those that have been affected by Alzheimer’s as we fight to find a cure for this disease. It has been hard to contain my excitement to one day be a part of this amazing organization, and now that day is finally here.
I am riding for myself, to be a part of something bigger than me. I am riding for those who rode before me, to continue their legacy and to create my own to inspire others. I am riding for those who can not. I am riding to put up a fight for those who suffer from this horrible disease in hopes of one day finding a cure for Alzheimer’s one mile at a time.
