Matthew Wininger

My name is Matthew Wininger and I am a senior from Bowling Green, Kentucky majoring in Agriculture, Political Science, and International Affairs. Go Tops!

I was first made aware of Bike4Alz in 2010 when the first team came through Bowling Green. Since then, I have come to know more about the ravaging effects of Alzheimer’s in witnessing multiple friends and extended family members suffer from the terrible disease. This summer, I hope to honor, uphold, and extend the legacy set by the nine groups of men who have set out on this journey before us. I look forward to meeting people along the way to hear their stories, spread awareness, and raise money towards finding a cure so that, together, we can #endAlz. I am riding for the day we don’t need to ride anymore. I am riding for the future that remembers the past.
