Will Chaney

Hey! My name is Will Chaney, and I am currently a sophomore at Western Kentucky University. I am majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Entrepreneurship. After college I plan to get my Master of Business Administration here at WKU.

I became interested in Bike4Alz back when I was a senior in high school. My older brother was a biker for Bike4Alz for Team 6. As soon as I heard about it, I knew I wanted to do that one day. My Papaw, Sanford Chaney, passed away from Alzheimer’s back in 2010. Seeing him going through the terrible disease was hard on my whole family. Although I was never old enough to remember him before he was diagnosed, he always put a smile on my face every time I saw him.

I will be riding in honor of my Papaw and for all of the people who have been affected by this disease. I’m privileged to be part of Team 8 as we ride from coast to coast to raise awareness from Alzheimer’s. This Philanthropy is extremely important to me, and I want to make sure I do my part in helping end this disease. #EndAlz
