Alex Houlton

My name is Alex Houlton, and I live in Buckner, Kentucky. I am sophomore at Western Kentucky University, majoring in Human Resource Management.

Although none of my close family has Alzheimer’s disease, my family, friends, and fraternity brothers all know people who have been diagnosed with this awful illness. Unfortunately, Alzheimer’s affects more than just the person diagnosed – it affects all of their loved ones, both friends and family. It affects all of us.

Statistically, it is a very real possibility that I may develop Alzheimer’s in my lifetime, so I ride to help those suffering while I am still blessed with a sound body and mind.
