Griffin Beckner

Hi! My name is Griffin Beckner and I am a sophomore from Murfreesboro, TN majoring in psychology here at WKU.

Since I was a child, I have been interested in learning about the brain and how it affects our daily lives. From an early age, I knew about Alzheimer’s disease and all of its horrible effects, but it wasn’t until very recently that someone who was very close to me became afflicted with this awful disease and I began to see how truly terrifying this disease is.  In the summer of 2018, I will be riding for Robbie Tuttle and all others out there who have had their memories and lives taken from them by Alzheimer’s disease.
