David Weafer

My name is David Weafer. I’m a sophomore at Western Kentucky University from Owensboro, Kentucky. I am majoring in Psychology and Communications.

Last year I watched some of my best friends go through a rigorous summer of biking across the country to help fight to save memories. I was moved by their dedication and the cause they rode for. Now I find myself preparing to embark upon the same journey to support the fight against Alzheimer’s. I am eager to use my summer to serve and to make a difference in any way that I can.

I will be riding for all those who are affected by the Alzheimer’s Disease. I will ride for the dearest of memories that should never be taken. I ride for a future that remembers the past.
